So you know, I just got back a few of months ago from a 6 Month journey of faith with the organization “Youth With A Mission” or “YWAM” doing a Discipleship Training School and the things that I learned and experienced were beyond what I can even describe! God really proved himself to be faithful not just to me but to over 200,000 zealous and on fire followers of Jesus who were ready to go out into the nations and preach the gospel (Matt 28:19)! It was a time where actually for the first time in my life I let God have total control of EVERYTHING including what many of us like to have control of, which was money and finances! I learned so much about being good stewards of what God has blessed us with and how we need to be more generous in blessing others as well. I had no clue how I was going to raise over $10,000 in such a short time and actually went there not even having money to pay off my lecture fees for the first 3 months, but I knew that I was called there and God had a plan, so I went trusting in God and he showed me over and over again His faithfulness!
Coming back to America and the mainland of the states, I knew it wouldn’t be easy because I would no longer be living day in and out with this community of believers and because I’ve experienced God in a deeper way so there was no room for slipping back into the ordinary American Christian lifestyle. So I started praying and really diving into what God wanted me to do next…
In about 4 weeks I’m moving back to Kona, Hawaii to continue on with my training as a disciple and to disciple others! I’m excited to be back and live with believers who also believe in God doing the “impossible.” I mean, everything from curing sickness to raising the dead and walking out what it means to live in accordance with the culture of the kingdom of God! Nothing is too small or too big!
After prayerfully considering going back, I’ve committed 2 years to absolute full-time mission work, and only God knows if more, to living in community with other believers and living a life of servant-hood, generosity and submission and continuing to learn as I lead others while I am on the staff!
The school I’m going to be staffing is called “Community Transformations.” It’s the same school that I, myself, was just a student of. The school has emphasis on transforming our hearts souls and minds on the kingdom of God to be able to know Him on a deeper level and to Make Him known to others and also building and maintaining Godly relationships to transform communities into His likeness.
Being a missionary does mean that I will have to do fundraising and like many people, I really dislike asking for money. But, I’m putting aside my pride and I want to extend to you this opportunity to partner with me on winnings souls for the Kingdom of God and to see “His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” Because no one in YWAM gets paid, we partner with fellow believers and have monthly supporters so that we can have a place to sleep, food to eat, pay for transportation, bless others in need, be able to pay campus/staffing/leadership track fees and train and lead others out to the nations to proclaim the gospel.
My school leaders have informed me that all staff will need about $1,500 per month of monthly support. So I am asking you all to prayerfully seek only God’s heart on this and in partnering and supporting me as I go out for more training and lead others out to preach the good news of Jesus Christ!
To be fully funded I am in need of 50 people supporting me with $30 per month over the next year or whatever you can give! One time donations are also welcomed :)
If you would like to partner with me, please let me know and if you have any questions about any of this, feel free to message me back or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks and God bless!
